Artist - Biography

Freida Hafif, a native of Dallas, Texas, and raised in the vibrant artistic atmosphere of Los Angeles, California, developed a profound love for art from an early age. Her journey through various mediums such as pastels, watercolor, sculpture, and photography eventually led her to her true passion: oil painting.

Her academic pursuits took her to prestigious institutions like Stanford University and UCLA, where she delved into the study of art. However, her education didn't end there; Freida continued honing her craft at renowned art centers such as The Brooklyn Museum Art School, The Art Students League in NYC, and the Boca Raton Museum Art School. Additionally, she sought guidance from accomplished artists through private studies, enriching her artistic perspective further.

Freida's professional path saw her transition from a bag designer to the esteemed role of Art Director at LaRue International. Alongside her professional endeavors, her artistic endeavors flourished, with her paintings finding a home in various exhibitions and showcases. Notable among these were displays at Stefano's restaurant in Deal, NJ, and participation in numerous group art shows.

In 2015, Freida's talent took center stage with two solo exhibitions. The Weisman Center in Delray Beach and the Highland Library in Highland Beach provided platforms for her to share her unique vision and artistic journey with the world.

Freida Hafif's dedication to her craft, coupled with her diverse experiences and unwavering passion, continues to leave an indelible mark on the art world, inspiring generations to come.
